​Honeysuckle and Horse Patty
Half Marathons

Honey Suckle Half Marathon..Begins at 8:00 a.m. from the Royalton Festival Field this course travels 6.55 miles towards the Narrows, through the Gun Creek Tunnel, before returning along the same path.  This section of the course passes through some beautiful places in Eastern Kentucky, from hidden hollows to awe inspiring elevated rail road trestles converted for foot, bike and horse travel .
Horse Patty Half Marathon..Starting at 10:00 a.m. from the Royalton Festival Field towards the location of the Tip Top Tunnel.  You will travel across many new features in the Dawkins Trail before returning to the Royalton Festival Field.  This section crosses through many beautiful farms and is a favorite area for people to walk their horses through, watch your step.
Mile With Mom​tm - One Miler..Starting at 10:10 a.m. from the Festival Field, this event can either be a stroll along Gun Creek Road, or a frantic dash if your mom is the competitive type. This event will start promptly after the Horse Patty Half Marathon, and is the perfect time with Mom around Mother's Day. Mom/Child teams get special pricing.

The 2017 Battle of Puncheon & 
Half-Mountain Reenactment

​The Battle of Puncheon and Half-Mountain reenactment will take place on May 5-7 at the junction of KY RT 7 and 1471 two miles south of Royalton in Magoffin County, Kentucky.

Afternoon Socializing with music around a camp fire.
SATURDAY 10-15-16
6:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.- Breakfast
11:00 a.m. – Off trail ride leaving the Rondal Reed Festival Bottom. This will be a long ride. 
(Wagon and horseback ride)
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.- Lunch 
5:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.- Dinner 
6:00 p.m. - Terry Miller and The Bridge Band . Admission at gate is $5.00 for adults and children are free.
SUNDAY -10-16-16
6:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. - Breakfast ( Campers packing up to go homeCharge for camping is $20.00 for Friday and Saturday night( charge the same for one or two nights). If you are camping in the bottom you will not be charged the $5.00 admission for music. All meals will be prepared by a church in the R.R.F.B..
